Over fifteen years running, Noumena’s Thanksgiving Break Program is an intensive program that helps students successfully prepare for the New SAT I and – depending on demand – ACT and SAT subject tests, such as Math Level 2, Physics, and US or World History. This program is most suitable for upper-class (11th or 12th grade) students who are either preparing to take the test in December or under-class (9th or 10th grade) students who want to begin building a solid foundation in grammar and reading comprehension. Every year our students witness tremendous improvements, many of which involve receiving perfect scores on the test. Students can expect a daily regimen of custom tailored mentorship that targets their areas of weakness. On average, students can confidently anticipate a 100 point boost on their overall scores on any given College Board test or a 10 point boost on their overall ACT score. Due to the intensive nature of the program, students glean more than just learning how to score higher on tests. They actually become better readers and grammarians and thus become much better equipped for school when they return.
